As Istanbul Technical University, our efforts to integrate open science practices into research processes have gained momentum in recent years. In this context, our initiatives related to open access publishing, which increases the awareness and visibility of scientists and institutions and has an important place in internationalization and bringing together potential project partners, have also come to the fore.

As of 2024, we have signed our first institutional agreement and we are pleased to announce the Read & Publish Agreement with ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineering) Publishing.

Within the scope of the agreement, your scientific publications in ASME content will be published open access without paying an "article processing charge" and there is no limit to the number of publications.
